Our Story

About Us

If you’re in search of a bar or lounge with great food, cold drinks, and friendly service tucked away from the madness of Times Square—look no further than Faces & Names. From the moment you open the door, you’ll see why we’ve been one of Midtown Manhattan’s favorite spots for over 30 years. During the week, we’re a low-key neighborhood bar. On weekends, we feature a live DJ for a vibrant crowd of young professionals.

Conveniently situated just steps from the district’s most popular accommodations and attractions, Faces & Names is so much more than the place with all the celebrity paintings. Our space boasts two gorgeous bars; a working gas fireplace; plenty of lounge and table seating options; floor-to-ceiling front windows; and (of course) original interpretations of your favorite A-list personalities immortalized on canvas by local artist, Dan Springer.
